3. Reset Procedure:
Move any critical loads to a secondary source of power while attempting an inverter hard reset.
Remove all input power source(s) from the inverter.
AC power input should be removed via circuit breaker switch feeding the inverter from the utility, or line source.
DC power input can be removed via circuit breaker switch located on the left side front panel of the inverter.
Once powered off, allow the inverter to sit for a minimum of 15 seconds in order to drain off any stored capacitance.
With a digital multi-meter, inspect and verify all input power sources for adequate supply voltage and current according to the specifications listed in the Majorsine installation and operation manual.
Restore DC input source power first by switching the front panel circuit breaker to the left “ON” position.
Wait a few seconds and observe/confirm that the front LCD panel illuminates and prepares for soft-start.
Restore AC input source power by switching your utility or line source input AC breaker to its “ON” position.
Wait approximately 30-40 seconds for the programmed soft-start to initiate, or bypass this feature by pressing (NO) via the “OFF” button.
The inverter should now be fully operational. Observe and record if any fault lights are illuminated and/or any fault messages are displayed on the front LCD screen.
If, after completion of a hard reset, a fault message is displayed or a fault LED is lit; please contact Majorpower technical support at the following address: tech-support@majorpower.com for additional assistance.
